Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead

Are you an experienced Software Engineer looking for your next contract in Edinburgh or Glasgow?

ASA has an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead to work on a new cloud-based Asset Performance Management System with a large scale public sector organisation.

You will build and maintain excellent relationships with team members and be comfortable presenting suggestions, plans and designs in a clear, concise and credible manner.

You can be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh however will need to attend meetings in Glasgow around twice per month.

Requirements:

· Experience of delivering within an Agile framework
· Able to take technical decisions and innovate solutions
· Extensive experience developing cross-browser web applications
· Extensive experience using common software design patterns
· Implementing solutions at an enterprise scale from an early stage of their development cycle
· Experience with cloud native design concepts with Azure PaaS
· Developing unit and integration tests
· Experience in the latest web application frameworks and languages (C#, .Net Core, Angular, JavaScript, EF, Core)
· Experience with modern web tooling
· Experience of GIS software development
