About the Client:
ASA are looking for Home Care Workers to join our growing team to work in the Portsoy area of Aberdeenshire. You will be working for one of our large public sector clients that covers various different areas in healthcare.

Your Opportunity:
As a Home Care Worker you will be travelling between clients houses providing varying levels of care and support. Shift times and exact routes vary but generally will be 6 hour shifts either morning or afternoon. Sometimes you may be working alongside another Home Care Worker but will mostly be lone working on a 1-1 basis.

The ideal candidate for this position will be familiar with the surrounding area and confident travelling the routes. We are looking for someone who has a passion for helping others and that will be dedicated and trustworthy in their role. You should be a great listener and communicator and have a warming personality.

Responsibilities Include:
· Travelling on a dedicated route offering person centred care to those you are visiting while keeping to a time schedule.
· Providing aspects of personal care within daily routines including washing and dressing.
· Promoting independence and encouraging the people you are supporting to be involved as much as possible in daily activities.
· Assisting with medication if and when required.
· Recording visits and displaying notes accurately and clearly.

Requirements:
To apply for this role you must hold a current driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. Walking routes/public transport are not available. You should have a PVG and SSSC membership. You must also be comfortable working on a 1-1 basis.
