About the Client:
ASA have the opportunity for two experienced catering assistants to join our growing team working within local authority schools. This positions are based on the edge of the city centre in the AB10 and AB11 areas, which are on well serviced bus routes and are even walkable from the centre of town.

Your Opportunity:
As a catering assistant you will support the cooks and the rest of the kitchen team in the preparation and serving of meals to staff and pupils. The hours for both positions are 10 hours per week working over lunchtime – perfect for those that need to work around school hours.

Our ideal candidate is hardworking with a bubbly personality and can build relationships with the other staff and pupils. You should be ready to get stuck in and be a great team player.

Responsibilities Include:
· Working as part of the greater kitchen team.
· Serving staff and pupils to order in a timely manner.
· Tidying of any work spaces using correct products and following food hygiene and COSHH regulations.
· Offering high levels of customer service while on shift.
· Monitoring and recording of temperatures where relevant.

Requirements:
A PVG certificate for children is essential for this role and you must be willing to obtain prior to employment if not already held. You must be confident in your work with ability to work individually as part of a team.
