Catering Assistant

At ASA we are looking to add hardworking Catering Assistants to our team of temporary workers to support our care establishment clients in Aberdeen, specifically Bridge of Don area. These shifts are scheduled as and when required by our client so is a great position for someone that is flexible for working.

What are the duties of a Catering Assistant?
You will be out working with different clients, playing a key part in the delivery of meals to residents which may include;
· Working alongside the cook and other members of the kitchen team and staff
· Assisting in food preparation using safe methods of food hygiene
· Complying with health and safety guidelines and PPE requirements
· Practising safe use of equipment and cleaning agents
· Cleaning, organising and stocking the kitchen where required

Who is the ideal candidate?
We are looking for someone who has some similar kitchen experience and confident to join an existing kitchen team. You should have a PVG or be willing to obtain one prior to employment if not already held. We are also looking for Catering Assistants we know are reliable and can complete their work to a high standard.
