Assistant Finance Manager – Asset Reporting

Are you a Finance professional with experience in Asset Reporting?

ASA Recruitment are working the biggest Public Sector client in the country to source an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to assist with Non-Current Asset Reporting. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Updating the non-current asset register system with changes to tangible and intangible assets during the financial year
• Maintenance of the non-current asset register system, ensuring the database hierarchy is up-to-date and reflects current accounting requirements
• Ensuring that the register supports the timely and correct completion of financial management reporting, ensuring all reconciliations and other key controls are up to date

So, what are we looking for?

• Relevant experience in Asset Reporting would be highly advantageous
• Full or partial membership of a recognised CCAB body (eg. ICAEW, ACCA) would be advantageous
• Practical knowledge of financial reporting systems
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check will be required
