Software Developer – Outside IR35

Are you a Software Development expert looking for a new challenge with Scotland’s largest Public Sector client?

ASA Recruitment are working with Scotland’s largest Public Sector client to source an experienced Software Developer, this role is suitable for candidates based anywhere in Scotland and is outside the scope of IR35.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Assisting in the delivery of new and improved digital services using Spring Boot in an OpenShift environment
• Streamlining existing tools and products whilst working with the development teams to implement a new case management system
• Demonstrating fantastic collaborative software development practice that focuses on highly readable and maintainable artefacts
• Ensuring that all developed software complies with non-functional requirements such as accessibility, security, performance and user interface

So, what are we looking for?

• Significant commercial experience in Java 11, Spring Boot, Spring security, OAuth2, OpenShift, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch
• Experience of developing high quality software as part of a collaborative development team
• Experience of designing solutions using human-centred, research-driven design practices
• Experience of working in an Agile delivery model
