Designer – Piping

ASA are partnering with a positive proactive Energy Company to find Piping Designers for a variety of projects.

Working as part of the Design team, you will produce engineering design deliverables. Hybrid working is available and the role will be split between their Aberdeen office and home / remote working.

You will be responsible for:

• Execute design and draughting activities (Concept, FEED, Technical Study & Detailed Design)
• Prepare piping drawings and design deliverables to the required technical quality with minimum input from engineering personnel
• Ensure that designs comply with the relevant procedures and regulations
• Carry out work in accordance with project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
• Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the MoC Process
• Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
• Encourage and provide lateral learning within the discipline, assisting in training and mentoring where required

What you’ll need to succeed

• Minimum of 5 years Piping Design experience in delivery of piping projects
• Experience in carrying out on/offshore FEED and detailed design piping surveys and providing technical direction to DV Surveyors
• Highly competent in the use of Autodesk Design products
• Exposure to people management
• Right to work in the UK
• Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS M MIST
• Excellent written and spoken English
