Are you a Construction Coordinator looking for a new challenge within the energy sector?
ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit a Construction Coordinator for a position within the ever expanding and exciting Energy Sector.
Your new role
Responsible for all coordination and management of the project/campaign being executed offshore in line with onshore design requirements.
You will be responsible for
· Early involvement with Construction and Work pack Engineers to understand specific scope of work requirements.
· Review of forthcoming construction work packs in preparation for offshore campaign
· Identification and mobilisation management of all trades personnel and specialist vendors associated with offshore scope(s) of work
· On occasion the Construction Coordinator may be requested to go offshore and function in the role of OCS.
· Review of Construction Timesheets to confirm correctness
· Daily communication with offshore focal points including attendance at regular morning calls
· Assist the Lead Engineer and others when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties.
· Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to discipline work scope.
What you’ll need to succeed
· Time Served / Modern Apprenticeship approved by City & Guilds or HNC or recognised technical qualification approved by an appropriate awarding body (Mandatory)
· IOSH Managing Safely in the Engineering Construction Industry (Mandatory)
· Demonstrable experience working offshore in an engineering, construction engineering or maintenance environment (Mandatory)
· Demonstrable experience of involvement with upgrades to Live Drilling Units, Production Installations, upgrades to M.O.D.Us and Elevating Drilling Units (Preferred)
· Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant Energy and Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards (Preferred)
· Excellent written and spoken English (Mandatory)
· Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS (Mandatory)
