An exciting opportunity has arisen with ASA Recruitment, we are currently recruiting for a full-time Sous Chef in Glasgow City Centre.

The role:-

Our client is recruiting for a Sous Chef within a busy hotel banqueting team in Glasgow City Centre. This prestigious hotel is located in Glasgow City Centre and caters for 600 covers banqueting events, in conjunction with a restaurant and bar and room service this role requires experience in running a busy kitchen on a day to day basis.

As a Sous Chef, you will be required to: –

· Supervise the running of the daily kitchen routine
· Recording of temps controls
· Liaise with the kitchen management team
· Fridge management and labelling
· Ability to mentor staff to become their best
· Preparation for daily service
· General kitchen duties

To be considered for this role as a Sous Chef you will require: –

· Supervisory experience
· Ability to work in a fast pace environment
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Food safety certificate
· Allergens certificate (preferred)
· Experience of working as a chef in high volume establishments
· Have an eye for detail

Job Benefits: –

· Wage: – £30k per annum + Overtime (paid hourly)
· Double time for bank holidays
· Full time: 39 per week
· Whites provided and laundered
