Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking to find your next challenge in one of Scotland’s fastest expanding industries?

ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced HSE Lead for a hybrid home/office permanent position within the operations and projects function of an expanding client in the exciting Energy Sector.

This role would see the successful candidate…

• Work constantly to promote an enthusiastic HSE culture that delivers positive commitment and engages all personnel in continuous HSE performance improvement
• Provide positive HSE leadership for all contracts on HSE issues and promote the adoption of HSE best practices and industry standards
• When required – Participate in Incident investigations, leading as necessary, ensuring that methods of investigation and reporting appropriate to the incident are utilised. Ensure that lessons are established and learned and shared with all stakeholders
• External vendor audit and evaluation
• Contribute towards developing annual HSE Objectives for Contracts. Monitor and report on the implementation and effectiveness

So, what are we looking for?

• Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining environmental, quality assurance and health and safety systems
• Understanding of contractual, commercial and cost issues
• Experience of QHSE Management Systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 or equivalent
• Knowledge of QHSE Legislation, Codes and Standards
