Position: – Chef-de-Partie

About the position: –

Our client is recruiting for a new Seafood restaurant in the North of Glasgow. Opening in the next few weeks this establishment is aiming for 1 Rosette in the first year of business. Cooking high-quality seafood from a locally sourced supplier, our client is in need of experienced motivated people to help in the operation of this high-end establishment in the North of Glasgow.

Working within a small team this restaurant will cater to a 28 cover restaurant and provide a new innovative approach to the traditional chip shop, with an expected turnover of over 1000 covers per week.

Key skills: –

· Large volume frying
· Pizza making
· Plating and presentation
· Prepare and present menu items
· Monitoring/Recording of kitchen temperature recording’s
· Liaise with kitchen management
· Fridge management and labelling
· Preparation for daily service
· General kitchen housekeeping duties
· General kitchen duties

To be considered for this role as a Chef-de-Partie you will require: –

· Ability to work in a fast pace environment
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Food safety certificate
· Allergens certificate (preferred)
· Knowledge of H.A.C.C.P and C.O.S.H.H
· Experience of working as a chef in high volume establishments
· Have an eye for detail

Job Benefits: –

· Salary:- £22,000 – £25,000 per year (Contracted)

· Working 4 days from 7 (4 on 3 off after a settling period)
