Sweeper

Description

Sweeper in Alness: 17th – 21st January, with a possibility of extending for a further four week period. Hours will be: Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 15:00, Friday 07:00 – 14:30. Salary £9.50 per hour.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Street scene management (street sweeping, litter picking, brushing, weed control, gritting).
· Basic record keeping or other administrative duties as required.
· Any other work as directed by Supervisor/Foreperson.

Position requirements:
· Awareness of Health and Safety within a working environment.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.
· Good level of fitness.
· Full valid UK Driver’s Licence preferred but not essential.
· Able to manage simple forms and paperwork as required.
· Manual Handling Certificate, or the ability to attain qualification.
