MOBILE PHONE REPAIR TECHNICIANS

  • Are you looking to expand your horizons and be trained in how to Upgrade and Repair mobile phone’s. Our tech client is currently looking for staff to work on their site in Glasgow. If you have a tech background please get in touch now, experience in Mobile Phone Repairing or a similar related tech field would be an advantage, however full training is available for the right candidates.

You will be trained on the following:

  • How to carry out diagnostic assessing, upgrading & repairs to a variety of mobile phones, tablets and computers as required by our client, your workload will be varied and the ability to prioritise and manage your workload will be essential on a daily basis after training.
  • HOURS OF WORK: MONDAY TO Thursday 07.30am / 16.30hrs.
  • EARLY FINISH ON A FRIDAY: 07.30am to 15.00hrs
  • PAY RATE: £9.00ph x 38.5 hours per week

Duties & Accountabilities after you are trained:

  • Carrying out repairs on devices which will include, but not limited to, replacing batteries on mobile phones, laptops and tablets LCD’s, charging ports, internal flex’s, front and back camera’s and chip replacement.
  • Keeping team leader updated on the progress of the repair you are working on and ensuring you report any delays, bigger issues than you are qualified to deal with which may affect client SLA’s
  • Accurately record all work completed within internal systems using manual processes and scanning equipment.
  • Participate in any necessary additional training as required to complete job to the company standards.
  • This job description is not an exhaustive list of duties and the post holder will be required to undertake any reasonable duties discussed and directed by the line manager dictated by the needs of the business.

Skills and Experience required of working in an industrial enviroment.

  • Be able to work on own initiative and manage own time.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and team supervisor.
  • Comply with company’s statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work health and safety, security, hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Adherence to clients on site Drug, Alcohol and Covid-19 policies.
  • To eventually deliver a consistent level of service within the company’s standards and service specifications.
