ASA Recruitment have the privilege to be recruiting for an experienced IT Support Technician (second-line) for a well-respected Private Sector client.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing second line support to the business units globally in order to maintain data security, IT business Systems and efficiency.

Main responsibilities of the IT Support Technician include:

  • Supporting issues with any IT equipment including scanners and printer.
  • Using previous experience to install authorised software onto desktops and laptops as required.
  • Ensure all business support processes are documented and followed correctly.
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly task in an orderly fashion and according to IT process.
  • Troubleshoot IT issues

Requirements for IT Support Technician:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in IT
  • Previous experience of client PC connectivity ( VPN, Ethernet and TCP/IP)
  • Support for windows 7 & 10
  • Willing to travel at short notice and have a flexible approach with the duration
  • Experience of MS Office including Office 365
  • Professional qualifications in Microsoft applications and system support.
