Minibus/MIDAS Drivers

Description

ASA Recruitment are currently assisting our public sector client to supply experienced Minibus Drivers for temporary contracts across Glasgow.

The role will involve safe transportation of elderly clients to day care facilities across the Glasgow area. Duties include the safe use of tail lifts and clamping of wheelchairs during the transportation process.

Required Experience and Duties:

• Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role coupled with a PCV license and MIDAS qualification.
• A friendly and outgoing nature as you will be dealing with people on a daily basis.
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
• A full UK Driving license which includes being able to drive a Minibus.
• The willingness to sanitise the vehicle after each journey.
• A working knowledge of working with wheelchairs and being able to safely upload them to the minibus.
