ASA Recruitment are working within a large scale public sector body in the west of Scotland to find an experienced Technical Officer, to join a busy expanding team of in house Engineers.

The Technical Officer role:

• The successful applicant will be involved in the assessment of major planning application submissions to the clients Roads and transport service.

• Prepare feedback reports and reviewing road construction consent applications

• Provide guidance to the existing team utilising your experience of road design and drainage infrastructure

• Work as part of a close knit team to deliver the clients ongoing and new transport infrastructure projects

Successful candidates for this Technical Officer role will need:

• To be degree qualified or have HNC/HND and have significant design experience
• Knowledge and experience of road design and drainage infrastructure
• Sound knowledge of CAD design
• An ability to show off all facets of knowledge in Civil Engineering design
• Confidence in communicating with others and presenting work
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
