Are you an experienced Content creator looking for your next challenge in the public sector?

ASA are looking to recruit a Content Designer to join an exciting new directorate thats brand new to the Scottish Public Sector

The Role

– Work autonomously and in a team setting to create and iterate content for end-to-end services that makes complex language and processes easy to understand
– Lead the design and implementation of content strategies, directing the evaluation of strategies and policies to ensure business requirements are being met.
– Co-creating at pace reactive communications including but not limited to SMS, Direct Mail and social content in order to keep those in the highest risk community updated on latest guidance changes and advice
– Quality-checking content requests submitted by staff with editing responsibilities to ensure site standards are met
– Monitoring and acting on site feedback
– Using Google Analytics to generate site traffic reports

Essential Skills required

– Experience of using a style guide to produce consistent content
– Experience of using content management systems
– Excellent attention to detail
– Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads to ensure deadlines and objectives are met
– Awareness of web accessibility
