ASA Recruitment are currently working with a large scale transport and infrastructure client in the public sector located in Greater Glasgow, who are looking for an experienced Governance and Assurance Support Officer to join their team in their latest project.
The Governance and Assurance Support Officer role:
- Work to promote the management and delivery of governance and assurance for all projects within a large scale public directorate
- Maintain, process & control documents and information that will support key projects
- Support the Governance and assurance manager in managing and reporting and delivering high quality audit and assurance services
- Assist in the preparation of reports for the internal project management team and ensure that all communication and analysis materials are created on time
- Support the creation of key briefings for a range of stakeholders that include key government officials
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Ability to manage time and ensure that project/process deadlines are met.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to build good professional relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting, and maintaining governance for projects
- Knowledge and preferably; first-hand experience of risk management
