ASA are looking to recruit an interim Business Development Manager to join the public sector in Glasgow. This contract opportunity would be perfect for an individual who’s comfortable working autonomously with a background in the Communications industry.

The Role:

• Work alongside and established roadmap to generate new leads and successfully secure collaborative partnership deals in support of a series of new communication and innovation centres being built across Scotland
• Identify, establish and manage strategic relationships with influential organisations; developing partnerships with organisations in both the public and Private sector
• Gathering market intelligence, you’ll identify trends in the market and use these to create and deliver business development plans for growth of the organisation
• Contribute to public affairs concerning the business
• Identify new strategic relationships and grow existing stakeholder relationships to help gain and coordinate funding and new partnerships

Successful candidates for the interim Business Development Manager role will need:

• Understanding of the Scottish digital technology sector
• A proven record of achievement in the technology or digital sector of business development activity with experience supporting the development and implementation of strategy
• Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject e.g. Public Relations, Communications with demonstrable experience in the field of media communications would be highly desirable
• Strong personal management skills with the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills
