ASA Recruitment are looking for experienced Support Workers based in the Scottish Borders to help our client, a Healthcare Company specialising in Sheltered Housing.
You would be able to pick up shifts in locations like Galashiels, Innerleithen and Jedburgh.
There are a number of opportunities available including full time and part time hours and different shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.
Successful applicants will have:
· Healthcare experience within the UK
· Two business references one from your most recent healthcare role
· A SSSC registration or be willing to register
· SVQ 2 or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
· A full PVG and be willing to undertake an update.
Your main duties as a Support Worker will be:
· Assist with personal care, preparing meals and medication
· Help with household tasks like general cleaning and laundry tasks
· Ensure that full record of appointments, visits and events is maintained, with due reference to confidentiality, in the Service Diary
· Administer and manage Care Plans
