ASA have been proud and happy to support our many clients throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Support Workers and Home Support Workers have played an important and vital role caring for the individuals within their homes throughout the pandemic.

We are currently looking for Home Support Workers who are living in the borders specifically Galashiels, Berwickshire and Dunns who are driven by making people’s lives better. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a role which is rewarding and worthwhile.

Your duties will include personal care, assisting with dressing, feeding, and supporting in all basics of daily activity. Administering of medication, maintaining records and reports. Accompanying them to the shops and sometimes social activities, generally encouraging independence and personal fulfilment, sharing that warm cup of tea and listening to their news and stories.
For this particular role a driver would be beneficial however, if you have a driving license access to a car for shifts could be arranged.
