Are you an experienced Release Lead looking to take on a contract opportunity within a prestigious large scale project in the public sector?

ASA are looking for a Release Lead to join the public sector in Glasgow. This contract opportunity would be perfect for an individual who could provide expert knowledge and advice in Release Lead application development and support a team of developers and testers on the current project.

Successful candidates for the Release Lead role will require:

• Experience in the implementation and use of new tooling, Release tooling would be advantageous
• Have experience of scripting and deploying releases both manually and using deployment tools (in particular TFS)
• Experience of working in a multi-platform, multi technology environment
• Experience and exposure to Waterfall, V model and Agile (Scrum) delivery methods
• Strong analytical, organisation, multitasking and prioritisation skills
• Strong grasp of IT Infrastructure and Application development technology and architectures
• The ability to be autonomous work on own initiative for extended periods of time
• Strong well-defined communication skills, both written and spoken
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent organisational & prioritisation skills and a calm, methodical approach even under pressure

This is a contract position that falls inside of IR35
