Subsea Project Engineer

Description

ASA Recruitment are currently recruiting for Subsea Project Engineer for their Aberdeen based client.

Duties :

* Establish close working relationships with the Operations Manager, Project Managers and support staff to ensure the efficient execution of assigned projects and strengthened through regular project progress meetings.
* Manage to liaison with client representatives. Certifying authorities and supervision of subcontractor activities.
* Ensure the project activities meet the client requirements. Achieved through regular client meetings.
* Manage the administration and logistics matters on the project by collaborating with finance, logistics and administration personnel as required.
* Ensure that the project schedules are maintained and operated within budget.
* Advise and mentor less experienced engineers to help them in decisions across all relevant projects.
* Provide technical expertise with the project teams.
* Carry out engineering design and report writing.
* Prepare project briefings, dive plans, task plans and lift plans.
* Procure materials and services to suit project specifications. Including seeking support from the Buyer.
* Assist project manager in order to optimise the operational gross margin and control over expenditure.
* Collaborate with the Dive Systems Manager and Workshop Manager to ensure the provision sufficient plant and equipment to maintain the project schedule at optimum cost.
* Provide direction, supervision and support to all staff throughout the project.
