Home Support Worker

Description

ASA are currently recruiting for Home Support Workers for our client based in Glasgow. There are full and part time hours as well as temp to perm opportunities available, if you find a service that you love, you can make it permanent! Alternatively, if you prefer the flexibility of working with an agency then that’s fine too.

As a Home Support Worker, providing support in line with agreed care plans, duties will include –
· Assisting service users with washing and dressing
· Providing assistance with meal times
· Supporting with social activities
· Assisting with medication

All work is based in Glasgow with particular focus on runs in Barrhead although we also cover Clarkston, Thornliebank, Giffnock, Eaglesham and the City Centre.

If you are local to these areas in particular then there is no need be a driver but if you are using your own car then any parking or mileage covered while on shift will be paid.

Experience required –
· 6 months UK healthcare experience
· A recognised healthcare qualification (S/NVQ level 2 or equivalent)

Our Home Support Workers to the highest standard ASA will –
· Book you regular shifts, in advance and in line with your availability
· Provide free practical training and updates
· Pay £9.50 for week days and £10.50 for weekends
