CALLING ALL WEST LOTHIAN HEALTHCARE WORKERS!

ASA recruitment are looking for fantastic Healthcare Workers to join our team and work within great Residential Care Homes situated in West Lothian. We have multiple opportunities available in various West Lothian locations including Whitburn, Livingstone and West Calder. Whether you are a morning, noon or night person, we have a variety of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle – 0700-1500, 1400-2200, 0700-1930, 2200-0700.

ASA offer flexible working patterns which can benefit you and give you full control over the days and times you work by giving you access to our online portal. The ASA portal acts as an online calendar making it easy for you to add your own availability and be offered shifts that are right for you as well as keeping track of your upcoming shifts without being bombarded with texts and emails.

We are looking for Healthcare Workers that are friendly and enthusiastic and have a passion for looking after elderly individuals by providing high quality care. The responsibilities of this role include:
· Supporting independence of residents on a daily basis
· Assisting residents with eating and drinking
· Personal care
· Working as part of a team to have fun with the residents
· Exploring new hobbies and interests through various activities and exercise
· Maintaining privacy and respecting residents rights of choice at all times

ASA will offer you:
· Flexible shift patterns
· Weekly COVID testing while on shift
· Competitive rate of pay starting at £9.30 (weekdays), £9.65 (weekend day) £9.65 (weeknights) which is paid into your bank on a weekly basis
· Rate of pay will increase after probation period is passed to £9.34 (weekdays), £10.65 (weekend day) and £12.42 (nightshifts)
· Yearly in-house refresher training in courses such as moving and handling, dementia, challenging behaviour and epilepsy
· Holiday hour accrual for every shift work which can be taken at any time within your holiday year
· Access to ASA’s emergency on call service out with office working times

Successful candidates must have:
· The right to work in the UK
· Current registration with PVG – Disclosure Scotland
· Suitable Healthcare experience from UK based employment
