Support Worker – Sheltered Housing

Description

ASA are currently recruiting for an experienced Support Worker to work within sheltered housing in Inverclyde.

This work is ongoing, on a regular basis and the shifts are a mix of days, early shifts, back shifts and nightshifts.

The residents are all adults with additional physical support needs.

The Support Worker role within sheltered housing is busy and varied but core duties will include –

• Working to the daily care plans
• Administering medication
• Providing personal care
• Assisting at meal times
• Accompanying residents on outings
• Assisting residents to be as independent as possible
• Ensuring that good housekeeping is maintained throughout the site

You must have a minimum of six months previous experience working with individuals with additional needs

When you register with ASA, we will provide necessary training free of charge, including moving and handling and admin of meds, we can also provide an induction course for people who have previously worked in care and are looking to return.
