Production Operative

Description

ASA are currently recruiting for one of the leaders in the financial technology market based in Dalgety Bay, Fife. This is a fantastic opportunity for Production Operators required to repair/refurbish point of sale products, ready to ship to customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out any specific hardware customisation.
* Loading Customer software onto Point-of-Sale terminal.
* Testing the functionality of the Point-of-Sale terminal.
* Updating database entries.
* Operating within pre-determined service level agreements.
* Maintaining and enhancing operating standards.
* Assisting in the identification and implementation of initiatives to drive improvements.
* Assisting in other areas of the Warranty & Service Centre daily activities as directed from time-to-time by Management.
* Adhering to Company standards and practices

Competency/Skill Requirements

* To work well as a team member and in an open office environment (unsupervised at times).
* Numeracy, literacy and verbal skills to be able to follow written operating instructions and interpret discrepancies and raise any issues with immediate Supervisor.
* To be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, self-motivation, enthusiasm and initiative.
* A high level of PC literacy and database entry.
* Working knowledge of ESD protection and experience of working in an ISO9001 environment.
* Be able to provide evidence of good time-keeping and attendance with a commitment to overtime, sometimes at short notice (not out with working time regulations).
* Manual Dexterity
