Migration Specalist

Description

ASA are working with a client who is looking to hire individuals for a large scale Migration Project within the Public sector in Glasgow. They are looking to build a small team of migration specialists on an initial 6 month contract.

The roles include a Team Lead/Technical Project Manager and Migration Specialists.

This role requires that the candidates have experience in some if not all of the following specialisms;

• Puppet – Experience with the implementation and configuration of Puppet Enterprise and CD4PE. Candidates with Puppet experience must also have experience with writing Puppet tasks and the orchestration of tasks across many nodes. Additional experience in designing role groups and profiles, configuring environment based testing and provisioning
• Linux – 5 years’ experience deploying, configuring and administrating Linux operating systems. Preferably RedHat/CentOS distributions.
• Apache – Experience in deploying, configuring and administering Apache web servers running on Linux operating systems. Additional experience in Apache Tomcat based applications would be beneficial.
• Jboss – Experience in deploying, configuring and administering java based applications running on Apache Jboss middleware
• Vmware – Experience configuring and administering Vmare solutions is desirable.
• Storage – Experience in configuring and administering enterprise storage array networks, preferably NetApp solutions.
