Mechanical Fitter

Description

ASA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter a client based in the Dyce area of Aberdeen who are industry leaders in downhole tool technology.

Time served with oil industry experience of building new and existing tools/systems while maintaining appropriate documentation to record the work. Preferably experience in the downhole tool industry.

Duties

* Undertake build, repair and maintain downhole mechanical assemblies.
* Perform test build of new equipment and perform prototype testing
* Competent working on mechanical equipment and systems in the dowhole sector
* Carry out surveys and pre-fit examinations of equipment
* Carry out function and pressure testing
* Carry out gas testing
* Participate in design reviews
* Support internal customers on technical queries
* Support operations by working on client sites (onshore and offshore)
