Are you a qualified Legal Manager, looking for a large scale contract challenge with a new to market client in the Scottish public sector?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large scale Public body are on the search for a Legal Manager to join a growing operational team working on a remote basis

The Legal Manager Role:

• Drafting and advising on a full range of procurement and grant related documents
• Drafting and negotiating data sharing agreements
• Drafting online terms and conditions and privacy statements etc.
• Advising the procurement team on contract terms and conditions
• Instructing and liaising with external legal firms
• Ensuring the provision of drafting, negotiating and advisory legal services for property leases and licences

Successful candidates for the Legal Manager role will require:

• A Solicitor holding a Law Society of Scotland Practising Certificate
• Experience advising the public sector either in-house or as an external advisor would be highly advantageous
• Sound knowledge of public procurement legislation applicable in Scotland
• Exceptional working knowledge of contract law
• An ability to work with a range of key stakeholders to establish and grown long working relationships
