HGV2 Driver

Description

ASA Recruitment are working on behalf of a major public sector client to recruit full time temporary HGV2 drivers for the Aberdeen area. If you are a qualified HGV2 driver and have previous experience, this is the role for you.

As an HGV2 driver your main duties will include:-

· To drive refuse and recycling vehicles on designated routes and the transportation and deposition of waste at the appropriate facility
· To provide guidance of a 3 man crew working from your vehicle
· Deliver and uplift waste bins, litterbins and recycling bins
· Great concentration required as predominately servicing residential areas with reversing and negotiating parked cars and the hazards these areas bring
· Responsible for the health and safety of passenger(s) and overall health and safety as that relates to the operation of a vehicle

The following requirements are essential and you will be required to provide evidence of the following:-

· A valid HGV2 driving licence

· Previous driving experience

· Vehicle is fitted with radio comms so being able to communicate is a must

· Be willing and capable to work outdoors in all weather

You would be working a 37-40 hour week, Monday – Friday. Full training and an induction period will be provided.
