Domestic Assistant

Due to our growing client relationship within East Lothian we are now looking for experienced Domestic Assistants based in the North Berwick area.

You would be able to pick up shifts through the week or during the weekends with a pay rate of £8.51 per hour.

To access this opportunity you will need to be an experienced Domestic Assistant:

– Showing previous experience, at least six months, in a similar role
– Knowledge of the cleanliness standards required for schools and care homes
– Have the ability to present acceptable standards of personal hygiene at all times

As a reliable Domestic Assistant you will have to accomplish the following duties:

– Ensure the cleanliness of the different areas at all times
– Help to set up meals or to assist in other duties
– Prioritise the workload and be able to accomplish the specific tasks required for every school or care home

Being part of the PVG scheme is a must, so you would need to be an existing member or register, at cost to yourself. It will allow you to increase the number of shifts available for you.

With a rota starting at 8:30 until 14:30 during the week and from 7:30 to 12.30 on the weekends, the shifts in the North Berwick area are great if you want flexibility to combine personal and professional life. You would also benefit from our hourly holiday accrual whilst gaining great experience.
