ASA Recruitment are looking for experienced, dedicated and passionate Cooks for our public sector clients.

We are recruiting for Cooks in a variety of care homes and day centre facilities in and around Glasgow including Drumchapel, Govan, Possil, Shawlands and a variety of other areas.

Responsibilities;

• Organise, cook and prepare nutritional and healthy meals for residents
• Consider special dietary requirements of residents and prepare suitable alternatives
• Provide the highest standards in food preparation and cleanliness
• Maintain a friendly attitude towards staff and residents

Requirements;

• A minimum of 6 months UK experience in a similar role
• Must have or be willing to apply for a PVG
• City Guilds 6162 or SVQ Level 2 qualification, and Health and Hygiene certificates or equivalent
