ASA are currently looking for a Care Home Cook to join our team and support our client in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. This is an adhoc position that can give you the opportunity for flexible working when it suits your schedule.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is confident and takes pride in their work, always striving to be their best and make a difference to the lives of others. Experience as a Cook/Chef in a Healthcare environment is preferred. Teamwork, communication and time keeping are all also important aspects of this role. A PVG for Adults will be required along with Food Hygiene and Allergens Certificates.

Responsibilities Include:
· Following menus and meal planning
· Adhering to allergens and dietary requirements
· Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
· Using only authorised equipment, materials, food products and PPE
· Ordering stock and arranging delivery items to be put away correctly
· Temperatures and labelling of fridge items

What We Offer:
· Week day pay rates of £13 per hour rising to £16 per hour for weekend shifts
