Contracts Officer Asbestos

Description

ASA Recruitment currently have a requirement for a Contracts Officer who specialises in asbestos to operate within the Ayrshire area for one of our prestigious public funded clients assisting with pre/post surveys on commercial and public buildings.

Duties Include:
· Initiation and keeping of records such that the organisations interest is always represented as client and contract administrator
· To maintain a non-housing Asbestos register and ensure it is updated accurately and comprehensively.
· To accurately update existing management surveys (using Adobe) with information from more recent re-inspection or refurbishment surveys.
· Planning or assistance in planning works programmes to achieve the outcomes required by the organisation.

The Candidate
· Asbestos qualification BOHS P405/ P407 or suitable equivalent.
· Previous experience of understanding and updating management reports and ensuring that data and information is accurately updated to reflect the current situation within each individual property to meet the requirements of CAR 2012.
