Accounts Assistant

ASA are excited to be working alongside a reputable Accountancy Practice based in the City Centre of Glasgow who are excited to add an experienced Accounts Assistant to their already successful team. The role would be ideal for a candidate with experience within a practice environment, specifically in dealing with preparation of accounts for a number of clients as this will be a key focus.

The role:
– Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders and charities
– Taking accounts to trial balance stage
– Working alongside and supporting accountants
– Preparation of VAT calculations
– Dealing with bookkeeping duties
– Ad hoc duties as and when required

The successful candidate will have:
– Experience within a practice environment
– A strong background in account’s preparation
– A strong work ethic and desire to progress
– Previous experience of dealing with clients
– Strong all round accounting experience

For the successful candidate this will be an opportunity to enter into a mid-sized Accountancy Firm and develop both personally and professionally. The role will involve working closely alongside Accountants and will provide great exposure for any ambitious accountancy professional.
