Accounts Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a successful, fast growing company based in Glenrothes. The company is looking for an enthusiastic accounts assistant to join their small and ambitious team.

ESSENTIAL:
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
* Honesty and Discretion
* Must be proficient with Sage, Sage Payroll Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
* Good time management and planning skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload, work individually and as part of a team.
* Confident and professional when dealing with clients and co-workers.
* Minimum 1 year’s experience with an accounts system would be necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Providing key support to the Management Accountant Office & management team.
* Dealing with supplier & customer accounts related queries.
* Generating sales invoices in accounts system. Sage.
* Processing supplier invoices & reconciling Supplier Statements
* Preparing Bank Reconciliations.
* Raising purchase orders.
* Processing payroll.
* Filing & All General Accounts Office Duties as Required.
* Keep track of staff holiday rota & attendance record which is overseen by our accountant.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm.
