Are you an experienced Test Analyst looking to take on your next challenge within the public sector?

ASA are currently looking to recruit a Test Analyst with experience of delivering test analysis in large-scale complex environments for a public sector project in central Scotland.

The Test Analyst Role:

• Identify and design test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria and maintaining trace-ability
• Perform interface, systems, integration and acceptance testing
• Support defect triage and take ownership in reporting of unexpected or unsatisfactory outcomes according to clients requirements and overall test strategy
• Take part in regular communication with Test Lead and other members of the overall programme team, software suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure sufficient test coverage
• Follow test level test plans, working to agreed timeframes and resource plans

Successful candidates for the Test Analyst role will need:

• Possess testing qualification (e.g. ISEB / ISTQB / BCS) at least to a foundation level
• A strong ability to communicate and work alongside to an array of different stakeholders
• Familiarisation with test management tools
• Database knowledge including confidence in maintaining and querying SQL and/or Oracle databases
