Registered Nurse – Level 1

Description

We at ASA are currently recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses & Registered Mental Nurses to work on temporary/contracted assignments in care homes. ASA are a leading supplier of Health Care for the private and public sector. We are seeking nurses that have a current NMC level one registered nurse pin with a minimum of six months experience in a similar sector of care work in the last year. The duties our nursing staff would include assisting with medication and providing personal care to residents in care homes whilst assisting with mobility to promote independence when possible. It is important that you are able to work and lead part of a team to commit to the highest quality of care.

Our RGN Nurses have a variety of responsibilities including:
* Administering medication
* Provide excellence in clinical practice, and maintain residents rights to privacy, dignity and respect at all times
* Demonstrate effective communication with service users, families and colleagues
* Take pride in having a positive and kind-hearted attitude towards residents

For this RGN role, you will need:

* BSC Adult Nursing
* Valid and current NMC PIN
* Elderly care experience
* Two clinical references
* Moving and Handling experience
* To register for PVG scheme membership if not already registered
