Exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior in a top 10 Scottish accountancy firm based in the centre of Glasgow. Our client is seeking an Audit Senior, with experience supervising a small team. The role offers a competitive salary based on experience and an extensive client list.

The responsibilities of the Audit Senior are:
§ Take control of audit work on a day to day basis
§ Preparing audit plans and adhering to deadlines and budgets
§ Responsibility for ensuring the audit file is finalised and signed off
§ Planning and supervising work carried out by Audit Associates
§ Training and briefing Audit Associates when required
§ Building and developing lasting relationships with clients
§ Ensuring clients are kept informed of progress and issues that may arise throughout each audit
§ Highlight issues and concerns to the Audit Manager in a timely manner

To be considered for the role you will:
§ Be a qualified accountant
§ Have practical experience preparing audit files and financial statements using accounting software.
