ASA Recruitment are working with a large scale Public body are on the search for a Finance Systems and Processes Lead to join a growing operational team in Glasgow.

The Finance Systems and Processes Lead Role:

• Create a brand new project team centred round an essential finance function
• Collaborate with an array of different stakeholders and internal agencies to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems, Processes and Controls
• Lead the development of a risk and controls networks for an essential central payment function
• Provide scrutiny & constructive challenge of options appraisals, change requests & business cases within the project
• Take charge on the creation of all payment related guidance to be used after project completion

Successful candidates for the Finance Systems and Processes Lead role will need:

• To be a Professionally qualified accountant – CCAB/CIMA professional accountancy body or equivalent with up to date CPD
• Must be credible with staff, creating conditions to build confident and effective teams that empower, value and motivate people and lead a finance team
• Ability to demonstrate leading of financial processes and control design
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience of producing written reports/observations/findings.
