ICT Server Analyst

Description

ASA are working with a large Public Sector client within the Glasgow and Central Scotland area who are looking to employ a Server Analyst on an initial 6 month contract.

The Main Purpose of the post is to:
· Provide operational third tier support services for Incident Management based on Key Performance indicators
· Lead technical role in the evaluation, testing and implementation of new server systems & associated technologies
· Technical role in the development of transformational projects in line with Strategic business objectives
· Provision of problem management services
· Provide quality assurance of activities (including technical integrity assessment, impact assessment, regression, validity, benchmarking) involving the ICT architecture
· Technical role in analysis, resolution and recording of major IT incidents relating to server technologies

Ideal Candidate
· Educated to degree level in a relevant ICT or Relevant qualifications or Experience

· Experience of leading and managing change

· Extensive Experience of Server Management within a large ICT estate

· Extensive Experience of Windows Server OS, Solaris, SAN technologies, DHCP & DNS, Citrix & VMWare, LUN management, Exchange 2013, Active Directory

· Experience of Dell Equalogic, Firewalls, SSL VPN, Dell Force10, iSCSI, Netbackup, Fibre Channel Fabric, Data Domains, SQL, Azure. Appsense, SCCM
