ENVIRONMENT BRIEFING & CORRESPONDENCE OFFICER

Description

ASA are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our prestigious Public Sector client’s Environment & Sustainability team. As an Environment and Sustainability Senior Officer, you will be instrumental in advancing our clients commitment to sustainable economic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Crafting responses, correspondence, emails, and press releases pertaining to environment and sustainability issues.
Providing expert advice to senior managers on environment and sustainability initiatives, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely briefing materials.
Maintaining meticulous project management and correspondence records, overseeing tasks across the Environment & Sustainability team.
Contributing to various work streams, including proofreading, minute taking, attending stakeholder meetings, and assisting in document creation.
Taking the lead in designing and managing the environment and sustainability aspects of the Public Sector website.

Essential Criteria:

Proven track record of producing high-quality written policy documents, reports, and guidance.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage workload.

Desirable Skills:

Degree-level qualification in English or Communications preferred.
While a background in environmental studies is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Our client values excellent written skills above all, with the opportunity for subject matter expertise development.

Contract Duration: Initial contract anticipated for 6 months, with potential extension up to 23 months.
