Group Accountant

Description

ASA are working with an industry leading Scottish company who, due to continuing success, are looking for a Group Accountant to join their finance team based in Glasgow city centre.

The main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and year end basis
• Preparation of statutory accounts for multiple entities
• Management of the statutory audit process including liaison with external auditors
• Working closely with senior management
• Ensuring all financial controls are adhered to and up to date
• Ongoing process improvement and implementation

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant with more than 1 years experience
• Have experience of preparing multiple sets of financial statements and year end accounts
• Have excellent stakeholder management skills
• Be comfortable presenting financial results to senior management
