Support Worker

Description

Experienced support worker required within Dundee City Centre, DD1 postcode. No reason to be a driver as easily reached with public transport. ASAP start date available.

Working as a support worker with ASA means you will be required to support users of the service to live peacefully in a home environment. As a support worker you will also be required to make sure that person centred care is carried out at all times also to provide emotional support to users of the service also you will be a part of taking the residents to days out. You will be joining a great team of care assistants and you will be a valued part of the team.
This will be within a supported living service in a home with 5 adults all with additional support needs.
You will be required to be placed on a rota basis which could lead to more permanent work.
Paid every Friday and holiday accrual.
Shifts will range from day shifts to back shifts and will include weekend work.
Pay form £10.50 – £20.98 depending on shift pattern and length of service.
Requirements:
. 6 months paid UK care experience
. Right to work in the UK
. Good understanding and knowledge of moving and handling regulations

. Work well within a team
. Build a trusting relationship with your residents
. Encourage residents to take part in any available activities to keep them socialising
