Driver LGV 1

Description

ASA Recruitment are delighted to be representing a prestigious public sector client with fantastic on-going opportunities for experienced LGV Drivers (Category C).

This is a temporary contract working through from 1^st December to 31^st March 2023 on a regular shift pattern. This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week working in Kinlochbervie.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily vehicle checks regarding the safety of the vehicle
• Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness
• Carry out road and winter maintenance duties as directed
• Carry out all aspects of Roads and Winter Maintenance as directed
• Carry out LGV driving duties including Winter Maintenance snow plough driving and gritting

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES

• Experience and knowledge of road maintenance work
• Basic level of literacy and numeracy
• Ability to work outdoors in all weathers, as part of a Team or Independently
• Ability to understand instructions and experience in the use of mobile technology
• Experience of operating construction related plant or other construction related skill
• Possession of Driving Licence for LGV, Category C minimum

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Full valid LGV 1 (Category C)
• CPC Card (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card)
