Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge within the energy sector?
ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit an Electrical engineer for a Contractor position based in Aberdeen within the ever expanding and exciting Energy Sector.
Your new role
Undertaking engineering duties associated with design, certification and safe commissioning both on and offshore.
You will be responsible for
· Input to project plans and schedules.
· Early identification to Lead Engineer of areas of concern during the course of any project or study.
· Production of cost effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to both PD&MS and the Client.
· Ensuring operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design. Seeking input from operations and maintenance personnel.
· Constantly Ensuring operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design. Seeking input from operations and maintenance personnel
· Providing key Input to project plans and schedules
· Working constantly to ensure compliance with applicable Industry Codes and Standards, HSE Alerts, Statutory Instruments, Establishing order of precedence on a project-by-project basis.
What you’ll need to succeed
· Demonstrable experience in Detailed Design Engineering
· BSc or equivalent in relevant Engineering Discipline
· Demonstrable knowledge of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards
· Understanding of the application of Autodesk Design products
· Reasonable understanding of all Engineering disciplines
· Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
· Competent in the use of MS Office applications
