We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our Public Sector clients for a Qualified Social Worker to work within the Criminal Justice Service based in Inverness. This is a full time position working 35 hours per week until 31st March 2023.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Preparing Criminal Justice Social Work Reports
· Providing information, advice and a service to the Courts
· Interviewing offenders/accused persons in Court and working with those subject to Structured Deferred Sentences and/or Community Payback Orders
· Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the organisations’ policy and National Outcomes & Standards, which includes a requirement to use ViSOR, the Home Office owned violent and sex offender register
· Attending team meetings, case conferences, reviews and participate in any other Service duty, including civil emergencies, as required by the Director of Care & Learning

Essential Requirements:
· Qualified Social Worker with SSSC registration and PVG for children and adults
· Fully competent using IT equipment
· Interviewing, assessment and analysis skills
· Excellent communication, verbal and written – particularly report writing
· Confidence in public speaking
· Ability to work in a high pressure environment
· Driving Licence
