Are you an experienced Supplier Engagement Lead looking for a role within the Public Sector?

ASA Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of the largest Public Sector organisations, and one of the most sought after employers in Scotland, to recruit for a Supplier Engagement Lead (Procurement)

Do you excel in:

• Engaging with suppliers, holding to account on contractual and performance-related matters, appraising against target and invoking corrective/realignment measures in a timely fashion Reporting on performance within the department and wider Group
• Building Mutually beneficial relationships acting as the primary point of contact/escalation and gateway
• Working alongside the Group Procurement Specialist and other internal and external subject matter experts to procure products and services.
• Supporting operational teams, project management office and business colleagues to achieve business objectives
• Developing strategy, operational effectiveness and business objectives.

To be successful in this role you will require the following

• Experience of purchasing processes, applications, governance and influencing change. A working knowledge of the procurement cycle.
• Must be able to produce accurate process maps for the procurement and catalogue management journeys and mapping procurement to the Finance Global Design Principles
• The ability to communicate and engage with people across a range of job roles and expertise, able to identify and comprehend underlying issues and provide non-technical responses to stakeholders when eliciting requirements or discussing outputs. Stakeholder engagement is key to success in this role.
• Translating strategic objectives into adoption motives for stakeholders
• Able to identify and employ appropriate business tools to enhance stakeholder and supplier engagement
• A strong track record of delivering results by building relationships, trust and credibility with colleagues and stakeholders.
