Class 2 Driver – Glasgow

HGV Cat. C drivers required!

Due to continued growth in our relationships with a number of public sector clients, ASA Recruitment are presently looking for a HGV Cat C drivers for ongoing placement within the Glasgow and North Lanarkshire areas.

In addition to HGV Cat. C licence, you will require to be the holder of valid CPC and Tachograph.

There are placements available at various depots.

The Role

Safe and efficient operation is paramount in this position. You will be driving between 7.5 tonne and 26 tonne Refuse Collection Vehicles, often in residential areas or in heavy traffic. This being the case, you will be required to use your driving experience and road knowledge to ensure that your route is completed on time and with the safety of both yourself and the public in the forefront of your mind.

The workplace is lively and energetic and you will be working closely with a squad of labourers who will be responsible for the uplift and compacting of the refuse itself. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, and able to bring their own personality to the role, whilst ensuring that the job is completed to a high standard.
